I’ve been in denial for a little while now about it, but I decided to listen to my doctor because I also now have Leaky Gut Syndrome. Honestly, with the research I did on it. It seems legit.
So leaky gut happens when your small intestines become permeable and start to infect your blood stream. I have so much going on with my body that it’s almost dumb that I didn’t believe my doctor. I have 16 issues and a big handful of them have to do with a leaky gut.
So this is not new stuff, this kind of thing has been on people’s radar for a long time now. The vagus nerve is all mostly in your gut. If your gut isn’t working right it can cause problems for the ENTIRE body because it sends signals to the brain and the brain does what the gut says. Not the other way around! CRAZY!
It causes malabsorption…I have malabsorption problems…it causes or exacerbates all of it. GERD, Sebbhoric Dermatitis, Schizoaffective Disorder, Brain Fog, Endometriosis, Diabetes, Food sensitivities. *breaths deeply* Causes for it…probably stress. I have a lot of stress. I stress daily about diet. I’ve changed my diet so many times my gut probably hates me and adds the depression and anxiety in there.
Thankfully, there is a way to eat to stop it and I have to not stress.
I guess I just need a whole new life. I will just throw it all out and start over. 🙂
I’m kidding, but I seriously deal with so much stress and pain from my body that I have no idea if this will work, but I will try anyway. One more diet to rule them all. I hope. If you have any leaky gut friendly recipes please send them my way!
